The Faculty Of Science And Technology
THE FACULTY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY is a faculty with an Islamic orientation, with the goal of developing natural science and technology characterized by Islamic values.
Graduates of this Faculty are expected to be able to combine natural science, and information technology with Islamic Science, which in turn will enable them to respond to the challenges of the twenty-first century. They will have a competitive edge in the globalization era as a result of their understanding of information technology.
Before The faculty a of since and Technology was founded since year 2000/2001 IAIN has established The Conversion Programs Study of Agribusiness, Informatic engineering In the beginning of academic year 2002/2003, the conversion programs of UIN ere changed and became the faculty of Science and Technology.which has study programs :

1. Socio- Economic Agriculture/Agribusiness
THIS DEPARTMENT AIMS TO PRODUCE agriculture knowledge-based graduates with a high level of integrity and an understanding of the theories as well as methods of agribusiness.
The core subjects offered include: Islamic science, General Biology, General Chemistry, Introduction to Agriculture, Basic Climatology, Principles of Agronomy, Science of Soil, Principles of Micro-management. Business Ethics in Islam, Introduction to Demography, Fishery Management, Managerial Economics, Management Accounting, Corporate Financing, Socio-Economic statistics, International Trade, Commercial Management, the Management of Production and Operation, Quantitative Management Research and Research Methodology. This Department aims to produce graduate with a high level of integrity as well as a sound understanding of the theories and methods of information technology, who are capable of analyzing and solving various problems in the field of software development and information technology. The main subjects offered in this department are: Islamic Science, Introduction to Mathematics, Electronics, Calculus, Micro-processing, Artificial Intelligence, CDS / ISIS Application, Object-Oriented Systems, Calligraphic Design, Bibliographical studies and Research Methodology.
2. Information Technology
THIS DEPARTMENT focus on the high comprehension about theory, software development, networking and data base. The graduates are provided with capacities in software development and competencies in and multimedia. The Graduates were given sufficient theories for the advanced study program. The graduate also has the capabilities to get job as the application specialist, Networking Specialist. Technical support Specialist, database administrator (DBA) or IC Consultant,
3. Information System
THIS DEPARTMENT AIMS TO PRODUCE Scholars of information systems with a mastery of software development concepts and the applications of information technology. Graduates are also expected to have expertise in designing, managing and developing the information systems.
The core subjects offered in this Department include: Islamic Science, Introduction to Electronic Data Processing, Concepts in programming, Discrete Mathematics, Information Systems Management, Computer Data Structure, Operational Systems, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems Analysis, Research Methodology and Information Systems Design.
4. Mathematics
THIS DEPARTMENT IS GEARED TOWARDS the development of mathematics as a scientific discipline, and is also the center for the development of mathematics imbued with Islamic values. This Department aims to produce graduates with professional capabilities in the field of mathematics in terms of mathematical concepts in the workplace, as well as the materials and methodology for teaching.
The core subjects offered include: Islamic Sciences, Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, Elementary Linear Algebra, Elementary Statistics, Computer Programming, Introduction to Mathematical Logic, Real Analysis, Analytical Geometry, Mathematical Statistics, Differential equation, Introduction to Abstract Algebra, Introduction to Module Theory, Transformational Geometry, Introduction to Measurement Theory, Research Methodology and Introduction to Measurement Theory, Research Methodology and Introduction to Typology.
5. Biology
THIS DEPARTMENT IS GEARED TOWARD developing graduates with professional capabilities in the field of biology characterized by Islamic values. Graduates are expected to develop and provide service in the field of biology. The study programs of biology focusing on pure biology, bioinformatics, food and enpirovment is expected to be able to meet these needs.gvi
The core subjects offered in this Department include: Islamic Science, Basic Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Radio-biology, Botany, Vegetation Ecology, animal Ecology, Ethno-biology, Vertebrate Embryology, Biology of Flora Population, Organic Chemistry, Research Methodology and Flora Physiology. This Department aims to develop chemistry as a scientific discipline in its own right, and integrated with Islamic values. Graduates are expected to be able to develop and render services to society concerning chemistry. The food industry, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics have rapidly grows up . These industries are proof again economic crisis due to their products as the basic needs of mankind. These industry needs experts in the fields of chemistry and biochemical, Due to their rapid growth , many food industries, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics need expert to control and supervise their product particularly in conducting halal test . In this case, of course , The industries need to open more vacanties and jobs for expert in the field of food chemical ang biochemical.
The main subjects offered in this program include: Islamic Sciences, Basic Chemistry, Basic Organic Chemistry, Basic Biology, Kinetics of Chemistry, Instrument Analysis, Environmental Chemistry, Calculus, Medical Chemistry, Nutritional Bio-chemistry, Industrial Process of Chemistry, Geo-Chemistry, Research Methodology, and Principles of Chemical Engineering.
7. Physics
THIS PROGRAM AIMS TO DEVELOP PHYSICS as an Islam- oriented science in line with the era of globalization and technology. Graduates are expected to provide service in the field of physics, integrated with Islamic value and high morality.
The core subjects offered include: Islamic Sciences, Basic Physics, basic Chemistry, Electronics, Mechanics, Linear Algebra, Physics Computation, Magnetic Electricity, Quantum Physics, Experimental Physics, modern Optics, and Molecular Structure.

THIS cooperation between Faculty of Science and Technology with Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technologi International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) . The cooperation between two universities grounds on the same vision of developing Muslim intellectual with International level competence.This program offera both single and double degrees option, where lectures are conducted in two different Universities, three years at The State Islamic University and one year at the KICT International Islamic University of Malaysia. This program conduct in English.
